As I mentioned yesterday June 13th is World Doll Day and to celebrate this I’m taking part in a World Doll Day Challenge. Thank you to Barbielea of Barbiebeauties for tagging me.
To participate I have to carry out three tasks. Here we go.
1). Post three of my favourite dolls from this year
I have been very lucky this year because my sister gave me two vintage dolls that had been on my wish list for some time; a swirl ponytail Barbie and a vintage Ken. Technically I suppose Barbie was from last year as I got her for Christmas but close enough. Ken was a birthday present.
My other favourite doll from this year is my Divergent Tris who I bought a couple of months ago. I love her face and her short hair which I think makes her more interesting than the first edition doll. I’m not really a fan of tattoos usually but I don’t mind hers because it is small and presumably has some meaning to the character. I’m not a follower of the films so I don’t know.

2. Let you know about three dolls on my wish list
I still have a few dolls on my vintage fashion doll wish list. I would love to get a Francie and an American Girl Barbie. Nice vintage ones don’t come cheap so I may have to settle for reproductions but I will probably wait until just the right vintage ones come along at a price I can afford.
I have also long wanted a 16 inch fashion doll. I haven’t a particular favourite at present but this was the first one I saw that I really liked. Tyler Wentworth.
3. Tag 5 people.
I have chosen five bloggers I follow. If someone else has tagged you or you don’t want to play that’s fine. It’s just a game after all.
Readers, if you haven’t seen them before go and visit these blogs to see their fashion doll creations.

Thanks for sharing Taswegian. An original Francie has been on my wish list for a long time too, and I think American Girl is one of my favourite vintage Barbies.
I haven’t watched the films either, but recently I read that Tris’ bird tattoo symbolises her lost family.

Good to know, at least it is a nice neat little tattoo, not all over and not like Tattoo Art Barbie, too colourful.
