I thought that it was time to get back to three-dimensional dolls after a few days of two dimensional paper dolls so here is another in my series on Fashion Fever Closets.
The one I have chosen today features outfits in fuchsia and mauve and a floral theme. Here is the full closet.
Our models today are:
- Tris- Divergent Tris with Fashion Fever body and articulated legs
- Becky – Black Basics – Model Muse body
- Jaclyn – Playline Barbie with Twist and Turn body.
First is Jaclyn who wears the floral dress and fuchsia jacket. While I think this outfit looks nice on her it doesn’t fit very well. The dress barely does up at the back and the jacket won’t do up at the front. The usual problem with T&T bodies.
Jaclyn has a matching bag and sunglasses and wears the shoes from the closet. In the next picture Becky is wearing the dress which fits her perfectly. She can even wear the shoes! She shows the other bag from the closet.
Becky also wears the next outfit, denim jeans with a wide belt. You can’t see it well in the photo but the jeans are stitched in green which is a nice touch I think. I’m not so sure about the pockets though. I like pockets on my jeans but Becky doesn’t really need them and they do spoil the line of the jeans a bit. They are a reasonable fit on her, snug but they can be done up although they sit rather low. Becky’s long-sleeved T-shirt is also trimmed in green. She has the usual shoe problem so we won’t go there. Becky is planning to spend some time watering her pot plants.
Here is Tris modelling the same pair of jeans. They were very snug on her although I was able to do them up. Obviously she is slightly different in proportion from the original Fashion Fever dolls. Tris is wearing the jacket which can be done up on her but I think it would be difficult to get it on over the long-sleeved T-shirts. Tris has a pair of generic pink heels.
Here is Tris again with a colourful outfit in fuchsia, mauve and green. The denim mini skirt fits her well but sits low on the waist. Her long-sleeved T-shirt is a good fit though. I like the long pink boots. They have a slit at the back so they are easy to slide on. Even though they actually fit Jaclyn’s legs better Tris can wear these with minimal trouble getting them on.
This top also looks good with the shorts from the closet.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing this closet which I rather like. I think it is interesting to use models with different body types and will try to do this in all future posts in this series.
