Today we have another purple themed closet. This is one of the Hillary Duff Closets. After pink I think shades of mauve from lavender to purple are probably one of the favourite colours for Barbie outfits. Although this closet is not as versatile as the previous one it does have some nice pieces that can be used with other outfits.
Vivienne is running the show again today so hopefully there will be no dramas. The models today are the same as last time, Vivienne’s sister Becky, Kelly and Sharon. Nothing in this closet fitted Rachel properly so she will not be appearing.
First is Kelly in a pair of cropped denim jeans and a cream knit top. She has cream coloured ankle boots to match.
Becky is next wearing the check dress and jacket which she says is very smart for work. She carries a purple bag from the closet but chose to wear her own shoes.
Kelly is wearing a two in one top in pink and brown and the cropped jeans. Kelly has taken a pair of shoes from stock because Sharon had already taken the ones from the closet and she did not want to wear the purple ones with this outfit. Kelly has a brown leather bag from the closet also.
Sharon has teamed the knit top with a denim skirt trimmed in the same material as Becky’s dress and jacket and the ankle boots. Below Sharon is wearing the coat over her outfit. I forgot to take a full length photo of her wearing it. My bad.
Here are the girls after the show. Kelly is wearing the boots from the closet in this photo.
In the last photo Vivienne is wearing the knit top with some separates of her own.
Great fashion show: ) Ooooh I love this closet which I have never seen. I like that you feature different body types. I know it’s popular, but I don’t think I’ll ever “re-body” my own dolls.
There are a lot of closets out there that I’ve only seen pictures of and probablysome that I haven’t seen at all so I know it’s always fun to find a “new” one. I decided it would be fun to use these posts to demonstrate how Barbie’s body has evolved in the twenty years since I started to collect her. As for rebodying I’m tempted but because the dolls cost more here I can’t justify buying new dolls just for that and yes I do worry about breaking their necks.
Nice collection specially Becky’s outfit!
That one is my favourite too and it fits the Model Muse body so nicely.

Hello from Spain: I really like these proposals. Very inspiring looks. Keep in touch
Thank you for visiting my blog. I went to see yours and I very much like your idea of using Barbie to portray every day situations.
