Playing with dolls is not just for kids.
She looks lovely in this outfit. I have always loved this, so ladylike. Mine is displayed on a brunette American Girl Barbie. I think it looks much better on dark haired dolls, than on a blonde.

I agree, it’s a strong colour. I did try it on a blonde modern Barbie before putting it on her but those little buttons are fiddly so I won’t be taking it off my Swirl anytime soon. An American Girl is on my wish list.

Is the lip color a result of fade or was that her introduced mouth hue? I like it.

Her lips have faded I think but it looks quite good. I would not have her repainted.
