Here is another summery closet, this time from Wave B. I’ve always liked this one because of the rainbow striped dress in particular.
The Models:
- Maddy – Black Basics 002
- Kirsty – Fashion Fever Teresa Wave B
- Diana – Fashion Fever Island Princess Maiden
The Fashions:
Kirsty is first with a minty green top and skirt with pastel stripes. I’ve always liked this outfit on Kirsty. I don’t love the sneakers which look rather large and I think make her feet look too big but at least they stay on. A lot of Barbie sneakers don’t.

Diana has the other skirt and top outfit. Her skirt has box pleats and her Johnny collar top contrasts with it nicely. She has pink slip on sandals. Everything fits her quite well. Diana’s choker is her own.

Maddy is wearing the rainbow striped dress which is a good fit on her and has managed to squeeze on the slip-ons long enough to take a picture. She also models the white denim jacket which is probably the most versatile piece in this closet. The purple stitching on it would also match Diana’s outfit quite well.

By the way Flickr is a great place to go to ID Fashion Fever outfits or just to browse as there are several groups devoted to Fashion Fever. Some show the boxed closets which is quite handy when you are trying to locate missing bits and pieces. Mattel released more fashions for these dolls than any others in recent years and I certainly don’t have all of them. Some I would not worry about but there are others that are still on my wish list if they ever appear at a reasonable price.
Here is a link to one of them.
What a pretty closet of sorbet colors! I also have some on my wish list and like opening new ones according to the seasons. So I’m opening ones with Summer weight outfits now and saving the heavier ones for the Fall.

Such cute outfits! I never had anything like that for my Barbies.

The few years they made the Fashion Fever Barbies the emphasis was on the clothes as much as the dolls and they released lots. I think apart from the early years through the sixties it was probably one of the best eras for Barbie clothing.

I can see why she has some nice dolls there. I have a few of those outfits myself so it’s fun to see how they look on different dolls.

I have that rainbow dress, and also the white jacket with the purple trim. It’s always interesting to know where clothes come from!

Yes it is, when you buy mixed clothing lots it’s sometimes hard to know where things came from.
