Fashion Fever Closets Retrospective

It seems a long time ago now that I wrote the first Fashion Fever Closet post and in that time it’s evolved from a simple show and tell about Barbie fashions to a series of stories about the clothes and the characters wearing them. Well sadly all good things come to an end and checking through my photos I think that I have shown you all the Fashion Fever Closets I have. There are loads more of them of course that I was never able to buy and even a few that I passed over because I had to make a choice between one and another at the time. However, unless somebody wants to send me their unwanted closets I will probably never get them all.

I think there are still a few solo fashions I haven’t shown you yet so we will be doing that and there are also Fashion Avenue outfits. Then it will be the turn of the Fashion Fever and Fashionista girls to be frustrated when they can’t get jeans over their wider hips.

Anyway I thought it would be fun to end with a look back through all the closet posts at some of the fashions, models, highs and lows.

  1. Omigosh, the end of an era! I discovered your site this year and have used it to research Fashion Fever closets and dolls. Can’t remember all my favorites but amongst them are the Lollipop, the red, white and black one and the one featuring peach and orange. I was never able the get the fuchsia one I really covet. Hope you will consider some of the current Complete Look packs. Also looking forward to more of Midge’s adventures in dating.

    • I was quite shocked to realise that I’d almost come to the end although I think I have a few solo fashions to photograph. The first few closets I showed I used existing photos so I may do them again one day and I have Fashion Avenue fashions to feature. I don’t have any of the Complete Looks yet but if I get some I’ll certainly show them. I love to photograph my dolls and the little stories are fun to set up.

  2. Some of the Complete Looks packs and 2-packs are cute. I want to see more of Midge and Marissa, my favorite characters 🙂
