This week’s Friday Girl is another recently de-boxed Barbie The Look doll. These girls were an Amazon special and I bought two or three of them at the same time, also more practical postage wise. Now I have started I will probably de-box them all. Gloria, as I have named this one has the Steffie face and is very striking with her pink lips and long eyelashes. Like Abigail her hair could use a bit of work and I will probably tidy it up a bit once I change the girls out of their “Arrival Dresses”. That’s how Naomi and I used to refer to the outfit a doll came in when we were kids. I have seen a few photos online of this doll with her hair styled in different ways so I may experiment with her later.
Once I’ve done that I’ll take some better photos.
Dolls, Dolls, Dolls 
This gal is both beautiful and sweet, with a show stopping dress sure to be a red carpet event winner. A gold beaded bag or gold clutch or a light wrap and she’s a Hollywood starlet. Have a 2009 Midge with this face but the straight gaze, eyes way less glamorous. I was looking to upgrade her to a Pink India Barbie dress that just arrived or salmon colored Cher dress but seeing this stunner will be looking more metallic..and the hair up with something jeweled..pity a tiara might be too over the top.

Brilliant! Loved the Marty outfit. Gave me the idea to swap out the Esme and other Twillight dolls outfits. the Olson gals got upgraded to 11″ bodies as they had neck issues, and hope to get a dedicated space for my resource books. Loving these blogs! Such a springboard for great idea’s!
