Today’s Friday Girl is Fashion Fever Barbie Wave K. I was astonished to find that I had never featured her before and that in fact the only photos Jayne has appeared in on the blog are the ones that I used for the first post of the Barbie Diaries Closet. I didn’t even take those especially for the blog I took them nearly ten years ago when Naomi gave me the big lot of Fashion Fever outfits from Singapore! So here is Jayne making up for lost time.
Jayne’s outfit was bought loose but I believe that it came from a closet originally.

What a sweet face and lovely colouring! Oh, the wonderful days of the Fashion Fever dolls and outfits. I love that summery outfit, too – It makes me forget the dreary winter weather here. 🙂

I miss the days when there were so many outfits to buy that I actually had to make a choice of what I coudl afford and what I liked best.

She is beautiful! I tried to find someone who was selling the doll, but I couldn’t find one. 😦 I was so sad!! I think it would be so cool to own her, but I bet she is an old doll and that might be why she isn’t being sold by anyone. Dang it! 🙂 😦

Yes she is quite a few years old now. I think she came out around 2006 or thereabouts. I should have put the date on the post but I forgot. You do occasionally see her for sale on eBay and other online auction sites but new ones still in the box have become pretty expensive.
