I am a little bit late putting this post up because although I had a doll picked out for today I didn’t get around to photographing her. So instead today’s Friday Girl is a substitute. She is Fashion Fever Summer from 2008. You have seen Penny before in some of Vivienne’s fashion shoots. In one photo she is wearing her original outfit. Her model number is M9324 and she is still available on Amazon USA. I rather like the Summer line of Barbie friends with their strawberry blonde hair and I am a bit surprised that I have taken so long to feature one.
Dolls, Dolls, Dolls 
Penny is quite pretty in her own way. Like the candy stripes and her party dress. Wonder if she would like to meet some of the guys.

I was surprised and happy to see the striped dress and green outfit featured. I don’t have a lot of Mattel clothes, but do have these two outfits and the striped dress is a favourite because it looks great on so many dolls. Summer looks fab in all three fashions.

I have that whole closet but the dress is a particular favourite of mine. I used to have a shirt in rainbow stripes when I was young and I think it is a very cheery pattern.

There was a candy striped dress. You had it first and then I wore it. I can’t remember if I was still small enough to wear it when we came to Australia. I always think of the song Summer Holiday when I see this design. Coloured stripes are very summery and I think Jack might like them also.

I think there was a little suit as in a short sleeved jacket and shorts or a skirt from memory too.

I only remember the tartan one, skirt and little jacket. You had the skirt well into primary school. I really liked that outfit but grew out of it too fast.
