As it is just a week until Barbie turns 60 I thought we’d take a look back through the decades starting with the 2010s. There were a lot of changes in that decade as Mattel experimented with different body types and articulation. During this decade we’ve seen the continuation of the Barbie Basics series, the experiment with the Swappin’ Heads Fashionistas and the new tall, petite and curvy dolls. Here are some of my dolls from 2010 to now.
Sixty years? Already? I really AM old!

Wow! A really lovely collection of dolls. This particular era really drew my interest back into Barbies. All that glamour and articulation! I love Sweater Girl so much but have never found her at a price I am willing to pay. Thanks for another beautiful post 🙂

She is beautiful isn’t she. I got some of my Barbie Look girls when they were on special but not Sweater Girl. It was still cheaper for me to buy her from Amazon USA than to buy her in Australia though.
