This week’s Friday Girl is another of my boxed dolls. She is Cali Girl Christie. Most of the last few years she’s been stored in a trunk because I simply did not have anywhere to put her, with or without her box. When I am able to unpack the rest of my African American dolls I may finally de-box her so she can join them. I need to put up another shelf before that can happen.

I did have Cali Girl Barbie at one time but I moved her on because I found her skin tone a bit too tanned for my liking. I probably would have called her “Skin Cancer Barbie”. Christie however, I think is very pretty.
