As you know Zane, aka Divergent Four, is one of our favourite male fashion dolls. Naomi loves to dress him and I love to photograph him so we came up with an idea for a series of photos. They are a bit of a spoof on Barbie’s “I Can Be” series. So, today Zane is a fashion model. Watch out for future Zane Is posts. We have a few ideas.
Zane’s outfit today came from an eBay seller in the UK. It wasn’t cheap but he is worth it.
The suit is made of good quality material and fits really well on this body type. Unusually, it does up at the front, like real pants. My only small criticisms are that the waist could have been a tad looser to make it easier to tuck the shirt in, or alternatively the suit jacket could have been a bit longer to hide it. Naomi has asked me to sew some velcro or snaps to the waistcoat so that it can be closed. I’d also consider putting a stitch or two in the shirt collar and lapels so that they sit better around the neck if she wants me to do that. Or maybe it could just be pressed.
Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed seeing Zane showing off his style. We’ll try to do another one in a week or so.

What a great idea. Zane makes a handsome fashion model in his new outfit. I especially like the last picture where Zane looks like he’s tipping his hat in greeting.

That was a fun one to do. In reality his hand won’t reach his hat but it does look like that doesn’t it?

Great suit.Looks like suiting material, I think some people make suits into teddy bears and for bigger dolls. Zane looks like he will make a great model..Look forward to seeing more. .
